I was just starting to feel good about my Time trialing when I looked online and saw this:
Men's Time Trial 75-79
1, Roland Jeppson, Providence, 27:36.
Women's Time Trial Master 35-39
1, Shanna Matheson, West Valley City, 28:58
Beat by a little old man. . . . . dopers. . . ;)
In better news I may have inspired someone. Super cross country cyclist Asta may get into racing when she finishes riding her bike to Virginia. Training with 50lbs of panniers up Cedar Breaks will make her dang fast up those hills. Watch out Portland women!

Perspective, Girl! He's got a few more years of experience in his legs than you do. Just think how fast you'll be when you're his age!
Okay, good point. If I keep training I can be a really fast 75 year old!
When he hopes, he dopes with geritol and vitamin blue.
that'll get anybody going.
I'm going to have to get hooked up with some of that Geritol stuff. Good thing they don't test at my level.
oh, by the way.
I hope I didn't offend you and the other guy on the way out of RMR tuesday.
I was a little annoyed at not finishing the race because my eyes were wigging out and I felt like a hazard to everyone else.
so when I pedaled home, I hit it kind of hard and didn't much feel like a casual ride home chatting with people.
JE. . . no offense! I was just jealous that you could take off that fast. I was fried. Between my 30 mile commute and the race there was nothing left in my legs! I've been having contact problems lately too. The dry, hot air seems to have sucked every bit of moisture out of them.
